...In With the New

~Christmas 2005~
It was extremely busy for us here at Red Maple Drive. I think we were on the move non-stop! Hines Drive Lights on Friday the 23rd. Christmas Eve at the Czarnys, Midnight Mass at St. Malachy and Christmas Day at the Durisins. We saw the Polar Express at the IMAX in Dearborn in the afternoon and Toledo Zoo Lights in the evening of Monday the 26th. From there on out, it was company for the rest of the week. Tuesday: the Durisin/Pero/Kreft families. Wednesday: the Dubenskys. Thursday: the Mullins in the afternoon and the Stylas along with the Wegienkas in the evening. Friday: the Allens. *Whew* That brought us to New Year's Eve. Ken and I stayed home, cozy and tired. We rang in the New Year with a glass of wine. I can only hope 2006 is as good to us as 2005.

Things to do in 2006:
1) Paint the rest of the house.
2) Find a full-time teaching position.
3) Lose the traditional 10 pounds.
4) Take dancing lessons with Ken.
5) Get married (June isn't that far off!)
6) Travel: visit family in Chicago and Boston. And where ever else we have family. Here we come!
7) Take down all the Christmas decorations. This may take all year.
8) Finish, completely, a photo/memory album.
9) Learn and master 5 new recipes... that take more than 2 ingredients.
10) Take 2 continuing ed. classes.

Who knows? It may happen.

You can do it all Nancy! Of course that means no time for anything else.
