I bought a new bicycle yesterday, and I love it. It's a Huffy, though not the pink Huffy bike with the fat seat I had when I was 12. It's a cross between an old-fashioned, one-gear cruiser with high handle bars and a newer multi-gear mountain bike. I like it because I don't have to hunch over to steer, I can sit up relatively straight. Wind resistance be damned!

I've gone out twice now, and I've realized what crappy shape I'm in. My legs and thighs feel like jelly. Burn, baby, burn! Hopefully this will start a new trend of getting off my fat ass and keeping active.

I will need some basic bicycle things- helmet, basket (a-la Dorothy and Toto), and a bell. If a flag could fit off the back, I'd get that, too. :0)
