So much has been going on in the last few weeks, I really don't know where to start.
Today was my first day of school with the students. It was a half day, and that was about all I could take. It's very hard getting back into the swing of things--- especially when starting at a new school, with new policies, new procedures, new curriculum, new co-workers, new everything. It's been very overwhelming, but I'm happy to be teaching again. The 7th and 8th graders will be challenging, though they are nothing more than big, goofy kids. That are taller than me.
Our other BIG news is that we are 100% confirmed pregnant. We found out three weeks ago, the day I got my job. Go figure. So as of today, I am 10 weeks along. Ken and I've been to see my OB/GYN twice, and we like our doctor very much. I feel very comfortable being in his hands. Last week he tried getting a Doppler reading to hear the baby's heartbeat, but all we could hear was mine. My heart sounded very good. Hopefully we'll be able to hear the baby later this month.
